Early Summer Vacation

If you are planning to have your child start an early summer vacation please be sure to inform the office so we can update the attendance. Please call 403-777-8360.

2025-2026

All students will hear from their teacher on August 28 or 29, 2025. The first day back is September 2nd this year, after Labour Day. Students will meet their teacher in the field and enter the school with their classroom.

The end of the school year means saying goodbye to a few staff members. Mr. Rodgers, Mrs. Bennett and Ms. Braat will all be moving on to new adventures in the fall. We wish them all the best in their new endeavours. Mrs. Harvey, our office secretary, is moving on to Henry Wise Wood. We will miss her dearly and wish her the best. Finally, Mrs. Wilson, our amazing Educational Assistant has made the decision to retire after 14 years at Killarney. She is outstanding, kind, capable and always with a smile on her face! We will miss you so much but wish you well as you hike off into your next chapter! We are also excited to welcome Mrs. Megan McCullough to our school as our new Kindergarten AM teacher! We have two maternity leaves next year, Mrs. Firkus and Mrs. Crowe, and we will be hiring for these positions over the summer.
